Hawaiian connection

at the stupa this evening, I met Liz and John, sedona natives who were making there first visit to the stupa, and John's uncle Chez, who lives in Hawaii, and had just been to a huge teaching event by the Dalai Lama of approx 5000 people. He was very excited to see the stupa, and remarked on the unusual coloring ( sedona red rock ) We talked for quite awhile about buddhism in general, as well as KPC's current projects and upcoming events, and they were all so glad that a place of such peace and beauty was here for everyone to enjoy, and use to amplify their prayers. They said they'd be back again soon.
